Tips for a glowing complexion

If you're looking to achieve a glowing, clearer complexion, here are some tips that can help:

Follow a consistent skincare routine
Establish a daily skincare routine that includes cleansing and moisturizing. Use products suitable for your skin type. Use active serums before applying your moisturiser. We recommend the C15 Serum, applied in the morning, under your moisturiser and sunscreen. In the evening, after cleansing, apply either the Glycolic Cream® to finish, or either the Active A or Essential Repair Serums. Seal the serum in with a nourishing moisturiser.

Cleanse your face twice a day
Use a mild cleanser to remove dirt, oil, and impurities from your skin. Cleanse your face in the morning and before going to bed to keep your pores clear. Both our Gentle Facial Cleansing Gel and Facial Cream Cleansers are gentle enough to be used twice a day.

Exfoliate regularly
Exfoliation helps remove dead skin cells and unclog pores. However, be careful not to over-exfoliate, as it can irritate the skin. Aim to exfoliate 1-2 times a week, using the Dual Action Enzymatic Exfoliant. Use it in the shower once a week, as a quick exfoliation, or take some time out and leave it on for up to 5 minutes as a face mask to give the pineapple and papaya extracts time to work. On the nights that you use this, skip the Glycolic Cream®, or any active product you use, and simply finish with a nourishing moisturiser.

Stay hydrated
Drink an adequate amount of water throughout the day to keep your skin hydrated. Proper hydration can improve your complexion by reducing dryness and promoting a healthy glow.

Protect your skin from the sun
Sun exposure can damage your skin and worsen certain skin conditions. Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher daily, even on cloudy days, and wear protective clothing and accessories when you're out in the sun. Our Dermablock 30+ is great for daily use, and sits perfectly under make up.

Avoid touching your face
Touching your face with your hands can transfer dirt, oil, and bacteria to your skin, which can lead to breakouts. Try to avoid touching your face unnecessarily and wash your hands regularly.

Eat a balanced diet
A healthy diet can contribute to clearer skin. Include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins in your meals. Avoid excessive consumption of processed foods, sugary snacks, and greasy foods, as they can contribute to skin issues.

Manage stress
Stress can affect your skin's condition. Practice stress management techniques like exercise, meditation, deep breathing, or engaging in hobbies you enjoy. Taking care of your mental well-being can positively impact your complexion.

Get enough sleep
Aim for 7-8 hours of quality sleep each night. Sufficient sleep allows your skin to repair and rejuvenate itself, leading to a clearer complexion.

Remember, achieving a clearer complexion takes time and consistency.
